Barnard House
Beautifully restored and renovated
“Barnard House” is a four bed roomed late Victorian
home with high ceilings, spacious rooms, original warm timber
finishes and polished timber floors. Large timber windows
ensure the rooms are bathed in sunlight and provide a lovely
garden outlook from each room.
Barnard
House has been completely renovated including, new stainless
steel kitchen appliances, including dishwasher.
Barnard House has two bathrooms, one with double corner spa, the second bathroom with large shower. Barnard House has two toilets.
Fitted with central heating and evaporative cooling, Barnard
House is warm & cosy in winter and cool & inviting
in summer.

Romantic Getaway
Barnard
House is also suitable for a romantic weekend away for
couples with a choice of two large double rooms, both
with queen sized beds, the front room of the house, overlooking
parkland is particularly appealing with dark blue walls
and dark timber lined ceiling. The gold room at the rear
of the home is bathed in warm sunlight and overlooks the
private rear courtyard garden.

Family Friendly
Bring
the children along, Barnard House is “family friendly”
and can easily accommodate a large family or groups of ten
with two queen rooms, two rooms with twin single beds a
double sofa bed. For the children there is a secure and
private rear courtyard garden, boxes of toys and books and
large wall mounted blackboard. A cot and highchair are also
available. |
What’s included?
Barnard House is fully equipped and includes all required
linen, towels, TV, DVD, and functional kitchen and laundry.
Ample breakfast provisions including cereals, juice and
bread are provided along with a range of tea and coffee.
There is even a BBQ provided in the rear courtyard, ideal
for a relaxing afternoon get together with family and friends
whilst enjoying some of the region’s local wines.

short stroll to Bendigo’s many attractions
All
our guests will enjoy the leisurely five minute stroll through
beautiful Rosiland Park to the Bendigo CBD and many of Bendigo’s
wonderful attractions – Arts Precinct, Antique Shops,
Restaurants, Chinese Gardens & Museum, Talking Trams
and Shopping venues. |

Bike paths and sporting facilities at your doorstep
Bring
the bicycles along and enjoy a ride on the “O’Keefe
Rail Trail”, the Echidna bushland bike trail through
the Whipstick State park or on one of the city’s
various bikes paths. Bikes can be secured at the rear
when not in use.
Ideally situated opposite the city’s sporting
precinct, Barnard House is adjacent to lawn tennis courts
(courts available for hire), the Tom Flood sports centre
and the Queen Elizabeth Oval. In the summer months guests
can cool off in the Bendigo Aquatic Centre, only 300
metres away.
